That would be something I would in interested in. I know the market for Pianoteq demands lots of variety and that is what makes them successful, but what I would like is to see a modeling competitor apart from Roland that concentrates on one piano sound by modeling and making it the best they can. I really would like them to add strings so we could layer it with piano. I thought the Steinway sounded much better. Or maybe we need another serious modeling competitor to force better revisions.

Maybe modeling is not all it's cracked up to be. Hassle free and easy and the recordings are just for me so perfect. I usually only use Pianoteq when I want to record. Go outside and take a look around and you will see people taking pictures of themselves (I believe they call these selfies) in the most mundane of situations (buying a hot dog) only to then go and post these pictures ‘online’ in order to feel they exist, and that they are indeed unique and important and if a Pete comes around and says, “these pictures aren’t unique, and/or special,” that Pete is labeled a troll!ĭon’t get me wrong I was once naive like you, but I’ve been around and about as of lately, and I can tell you, we’re all obsessed with the need ‘to exist’ amongst the influencers, celebrities, Bezos, Musk, CNN, and the woke police.īut there are some, my dear p, who want to feel they exist more on this social forum.
The notion that we post for the betterment of the community, or for a forum to ‘exist’ is naive or outright dishonest. All people, and I mean all, participating in ‘social networking,’ including this here forum, post in order to feel they exist (and I say this from a practical standpoint).
